1. Textual analysis of women super heroes: Wonder Woman, Electra, Elastigirl and Violet from the Incredibles; Storm from X Men, Silk Spectre. Explore whether or not even as a super hero their powers are gendered.
2. Screenings and focus group discussion about some extracts, focusing on whether the audience is aware of any of the ways in which even super heroes (or heroines) are in fact perpetuating gender stereotypes.
